Act One Theatre Inc
Little Aspley Community Theatre was formed.
To avoid being identified with a particular area, it was decided to rename the theatre. Consequently, "Act 1 Theatre" was born.
This year found us waiting for approval from the Pine Rivers Shire Council for permission to take up residence in the Old Shire Hall, Gympie Road, Strathpine. The delay was due to the fact that the Council needed to renovate the hall.

Act 1 Theatre has produced many, many shows, including musicals, full-length comedies, who-done-its, thrillers and one-act plays. Some of the productions have won awards, some have bombed, but all won a place in someone's heart. All our members have wonderful memories of a play special to them
